Shure Beta 91a Condenser Kick Drum Microphone

Shure Beta 91a Condenser Kick Drum Microphone

General

Introducing, the new and improved Beta 91. Shure hasn’t changed a thing about the exterior design of this microphone; instead, they spent their time improving the technology inside it. Its unique design was already successful because it eliminated the need for mounting materials. You can simply place it inside a bass drum or piano for precision recording. Distortion is the least of your worries thanks to this mic’s ability to perform at very high SPLs.

Furthermore, it’s ideal for recording lower frequencies and is easily operated thanks to an integrated preamp, XLR connector, and improved microphone capsule. Despite the incredibly high sound pressure inside a bass drum, this mic retains a superior audible attack and punch.
