With the ETX series, Electro Voice offers a number of ingenious speakers and subwoofer, including the ETX-15P. The built-in DSP offers an impressive number of options for adjusting the positioning and timbre of your sound. Electro Voice has years of experience when it comes to building speakers and all of that knowledge and wisdom has been packed into the design of this 2,000W speaker. In ideal conditions, this solid speaker is capable of a deafening 135 dB of sound pressure.

General

The ETX series by Electro Voice consists of four different satellite speakers and two powerful subwoofers. The ETX-12P is an active full-range speaker from this innovative series. The power of this speaker lies in its effective DSP and incredibly flexibility.

Electro Voice ETX-12P: DSP Versatility

The Electro Voice ETX-12P features potent DSP functionality, making it possible to optimally adjust your speaker to fit any situation by applying the Music, Speech and Live settings. Depending on your choice, the speaker is optimised for reproducing your signal. You also have the option of letting the speaker know how it’s positioned. Whether it’s on a stand or being used as a monitor, you can toggle the setting and optimise the internal EQ depending on the position. You can also set the DSP up for optimal use with a subwoofer, in which case the crossover is activated and the bass is sent through the subwoofer connection. The overall sound can be adjusted via 3 presets and a delay can be set, to align the timing of the speaker with other speakers which can then be adjusted in metres. The built-in DSP makes this speaker incredibly and effortlessly flexible.
