General
The Shape 65 active studio monitor is the largest in Focal’s Shape series with a 6.5-inch woofer for especially deep bass, which is why mixing engineers around the world speak highly of the brand. This compact speaker can be placed right up against the wall because it’s equipped with passive radiators instead of a bass port. This makes the Shape highly suitable for studios where space is limited, but when it comes to quality, it can support any production of any size.
Features of the Focal Shape 65
The woofer of the Shape 65 is responsible for tones of around the 50 Hz mark while the tweeter takes care of everything around the 35 kHz. More importantly, the audio characteristics are very neutral and pure. Focal offers an honest sound that many sound engineers swear by. The sweet spot is flexible thanks to the tweeter’s wide audio dispersion angle. With its attractive walnut and black finish, this monitor looks just as good as it sounds!
